This module aimed to explore the processes of creativity and design, examining how designers solve complex communication problems through imagination. I was introduced to various strategies and techniques for generating ideas and developing concepts.
Focusing on shifting mindsets, expanding thinking, and enhancing imagination to encourage innovative play. The module also introduced both divergent and convergent thinking models, fundamental transferable skills that I applied to every project to varying degrees.

Throughout this module, I engaged in a collaborative project centered on creating a series of paper-based zines. These zines served as unique narratives, highlighting my chosen object and its newfound value. I explored the idea that every object has the potential to become an 'artefact,' open to reinterpretation and transformation through personal interactions.
Through this process, these objects transcended mere ‘things,’ acquiring new significance.

Our final works were submitted at the 2025 Alternative Futures Zine Fair, where our creations were shared with a broader audience, contributing to the ongoing conversation around alternative futures and the power of individual narratives.
